5No problems here..
By Smitty
I removed the bearings from my 2001 DRZ-400 using a homemade draw bolt & sockets.
That was easy. Installing them with the drawbolt is another issue as the bearing must sit square on the opening or it gets cocked, hard to do
with a drawbolt as its hard to keep the bolt directly in the center of the socket.
I ended up pressing them in with my big bench vise, therefore no problems on the install.
Set the bearings down inside just far enough so there is room to install the seal. (1/8 inch or more?)
If you are using a sledgehammer & still can't get the swingarm pivot shaft out of your DRZ, seach 'thumpertalk'.com for drz pivot shaft for instructions on how to make a drawbolt.
